As we approach Election Day and the final push of my campaign, I’ve taken some time to reflect on why I decided to run. Campaigning is not easy, and it’s important to take time to think about why we do this important, critical work. Going into election day, all eyes are on New York to see if we can flip enough seats to take back the House.

With so much on the line in this race, I couldn’t just stand by and do nothing. That’s why I decided to run, because the people of Staten Island and Southern Brooklyn deserve an honest, fearless, hardworking leader who will actually get things done. We have a real chance to pull off an upset, but we need to keep our fundraising up. Can you chip in $25 now?

There is so much at stake in races across the country this year, at all levels. That being said, races such as mine are particularly important to gaining the majority of seats in the House. We need the majority to protect reproductive rights, establish climate protections, improve our infrastructure, finally take action on gun violence and so much more.
