By this point two years ago, our people-powered campaign had been outspent 6:1. We were scrambling to cut through my opponent’s out-of-state money to reach voters with our pro-choice, pro-water, pro-democracy message.

By this point two years ago, our people-powered campaign had been outspent 6:1. We were scrambling to cut through my opponent’s out-of-state money to reach voters with our pro-choice, pro-water, pro-democracy message.
A lot of people didn’t think we’d have a chance. But we proved them wrong when we came within a percentage point of winning.
The first step in making sure we win this time around is preventing Republicans from buying this seat again.
Because of your incredible grassroots support and momentum, we’ve managed to mostly keep up with my opponent and his super PAC allies. But in the final weeks of this campaign, we’ve been falling behind.
