It has been a month since Hurricane Helene tore through Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, Tennessee, and Virginia. It's destruction left more than 200 dead and displaced countless others. Entire communities have been devastated, with homes, infrastructure, and basic utilities destroyed.

Catholic Charities Agencies across the region have been hard at work, providing critical assistance. One hundred percent of donations we have received for Helene relief has been??allocated to local our Catholic Charities Agencies, helping them provide shelter, food and clean water - along with other basic humanitarian aid to meet the needs of members in their communities. To date, more than $3.5 million in assistance has been distributed to these local Agencies.??

Catholic Charities is dedicated to staying in these communities to help survivors recover and rebuild, and we will always remain committed to long-term recovery.
