Team — We know it’s a busy time.

GOTV is in full swing. Election Day is almost a week away. We know your inbox is probably full of requests from campaigns like ours.

But we wanted to bump Ilhan’s message from last week, because it’s not a run-of-the-mill fundraising ask.

As many of us are focused on the election, the situation in Gaza continues to worsen. Civilians in North Gaza have gone weeks now without any access to humanitarian aid including food and water, while the Israeli military continues to bomb civilian areas and force families to leave at gunpoint.

That’s why Ilhan has called on this team to show their support for an arms embargo on Israel until a real, lasting ceasefire is reached — the US cannot continue to be complicit in Netanyahu and the Israeli military’s war crimes.

The good news is that we saw an outpouring of support after Ilhan reached out last week. Thousands of folks signed their name to our petition and made it clear that not another bomb should be sent to Israel for their genocide of Palestinians in Gaza and their assault on Lebanon.

Now we’re asking if you can sign your name, too, and help us keep up that momentum.

So please: Add your name to our petition calling on the Biden administration to cut off military aid to Netanyahu’s war on Palestinians. Every day that we delay this necessary step is another day of danger for those in Gaza.

We’re going to have to walk and chew gum at the same time, Mohammed. We have an election to win, but ending the genocide in Gaza must remain at the top of our agenda. We thank you for any help you can give today.

In solidarity,

Team Ilhan
