The Daily Kos just published an analysis of congressional Democrats who, based on recent political trends, are at risk of losing their seats — but whose races are flying under the radar. And Andrea Salinas’s name was near the top of the list. Here’s the thing: it’s not a surprise to us that any analysis shows this race could go either way. All the polling shows the same thing. It’s the “flying under the radar” part that’s a problem — because we’re just not seeing the influx of donations that most competitive campaigns see in the final weeks. $5 might not seem like a lot, but if even half the people reading this email pitch in, it’ll make a HUGE dent in our budget gap — and help us keep our TV ads on the air. Listen, this race may not be getting a front-page in The New York Times, or attracting much in the way of cable news coverage. But this district is about as close as it gets — Andrea won with just 50.1% of the vote here in 2022, against the very same opponent — and the entire House majority is riding on the outcome.
