ExxonMobil promotes and produces the largest amount of polymers, the building blocks used to make single-use plastic, that become plastic waste in California. This powerful corporation spent decades running a campaign of deception to convince the public that recycling could solve the plastic waste and pollution crisis.
In actuality, ExxonMobil knew 95% of the plastic in the blue bin was going to be incinerated, go into the environment, or end up in a landfill — all while raking in record-breaking profits and jeopardizing our planet.
Rob is tired of fossil fuel companies getting away with polluting our environment, deceiving the public, and hurting our health and safety, so he’s working to hold ExxonMobil accountable.
