ISRAELI AIR FORCE DOMINATES IRAN

IAF attacks Iran on October 26, 2024

Here is the story in pictures

GETTING READY TO GO!

HOW WOULD YOU LIKE THIS PUTTING A RED DOT ON YOUR HEAD?

The Israeli Attack on Iran

IDF: The objectives of the attack were achieved.

Iran: Limited damage occurred at a small number of military bases.

For the first time, Israel launched an extensive strike inside Iran, taking full public responsibility and announcing the attack in real time at the start of the operation.

According to foreign sources, 20 military targets were struck across Iran in three waves between 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM (Israel time). These sources report that no nuclear, energy, or economic targets were attacked.

The IDF spokesperson stated that missile production facilities, ground-to-air missile arrays, and additional aerial capabilities were targeted to counteract Iran's attempts to limit Israel’s aerial freedom of operation within Iranian territory. The spokesperson emphasized that the operation’s objectives were achieved and, importantly, that all aircraft returned safely to base.

20 of those were destroyed last night in various locations in Iran.

Before the strike, Syrian opposition sources reported that Israeli jets attacked radar systems at "Tel al-Kalib" in southeast Suwayda (southern Syria) and the 19th battalion of Syria’s air defense in Homs, central Syria. Syria's Ministry of Defense confirmed attacks in southern and central Syria. It's likely that the IDF aimed to ease the movement of its aircraft to and from Iran by disabling Syrian air defense systems.

Many images appeared on social media, especially showing events in the skies above Tehran. Reports and footage from other targeted locations across Iran suggested that Iran’s air defense systems were actively engaged, particularly around Tehran.

The Iranian Air Defense Force spokesperson reported that Israeli strikes were directed at military bases in three provinces: Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam. According to this source, the air defense system managed to handle most of the attacks, causing only limited damage to military bases in these areas, which is still under assessment.

An interesting point: Iran is making significant efforts to downplay the impact of the Israeli attack.

Iran's Tasnim News Agency, affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), claimed that reports of 20 targets being attacked were exaggerated and part of a psychological war aimed at inflating the operation’s significance. They also dismissed reports of 100 Israeli aircraft participating. Tasnim stressed that the strike was carried out from outside Iranian airspace and did not hit any IRGC bases.

Iranian media quickly published images this morning showing "business as usual," with footage indicating clear skies over Tehran and normal life in Iran’s cities, including Tehran. They highlighted that civilian flights were operating as usual and that airports were fully functional.

From past experience, Iranians typically downplay the damage they sustain, as image and reputation are important. In almost every attack on Iranian soil in recent years, Iran’s official response has been misleading or inconsistent. It’s plausible that, as IDF claims, the objectives of the Israeli attack were achieved, contrary to Iranian statements. Iran’s efforts to minimize the attack’s importance may suggest they are considering "containing" the incident. This is further supported by a U.S. announcement demanding that Iran refrain from retaliating, with a promise to defend Israel if Iran chooses to respond.

THE BOYS - ROLLING OUT!

1. The IDF spokesperson noted that, following the attack, Israel now has greater freedom of operation in Iranian airspace.

Could today’s attack be a preliminary phase toward a future operation? Since air defense systems can be replaced, the impact of this strike may have a relatively short shelf life. It could be a tactic to deter Iranian retaliation.

2. Israel had the chance to strike nuclear facilities but, as it appears, did not. This decision contrasts with Israeli statements about eliminating existential threats from Iran’s nuclear program.

3. Israeli media reported, citing government sources, that Hezbollah’s recent attack on Prime Minister Netanyahu’s residence in Caesarea factored into Israel’s targeting decisions in Iran. Last night, there were unofficial Iranian reports of air defense systems activating over the residence of Iran’s Supreme Leader. It will be interesting to see if more reports emerge on this.

4. Iranian reports indicated multiple drones and UAVs in Iranian skies, straining Iran’s air defenses. How did they reach Tehran? Were they launched from within Iran, as has occurred before? Were they "given a lift" by one of Israel’s aircraft, or did they fly the entire distance independently?

5. The operation was named "Days of Repentance" in Israel, suggesting that the attack was initially planned earlier this month and postponed.

And one last important thing to note: The Iranians will likely continue to downplay the impact of the attack, but some of the extent of the damage will soon be clarified through satellite imagery. Yet, one central question remains unanswered:

What about the nuclear facilities?

THE GIRLS - ROLLING OUT!

Iran published the four members of the Iranian Air Defense Forces who were killed tonight in the Israeli attack, three of them officers.
(hmmmm… 4 busy virgins in Paradise?)
