Dear rebels,
As we slowly ease out of lockdown, there are parts of lockdown life we don’t want to leave behind. Only 9% of people want life to return to normal - now is our planet’s chance to build a better, safer, future.
And safer, cleaner, quieter streets are part of that. Many have taken up walking and cycling as part of their daily routine and air pollution in our biggest cities has fallen by 60%.
Make sure there's no going back. Reclaim our streets this weekend!
Paint the Streets
Saturday 16 May | Our Streets
Make your street bike-friendly by adding a cycling lane - organise with your local group to make a cycling route around your area!
All you need is a piece of cardboard, a pair of scissors and some chalk paint. Watch this video on how to make a large cycle-route stencil and use these template stencils.

Time to celebrate our new bike-friendly streets!
Go out for a solo ride or with your local group on our reclaimed streets, but make sure you maintain social distancing! Appoint a social distancing marshall and get creative to stay 2m apart. (You could wear a doughnut around your waist to stay safe and send a message!)
See the full action guide here, join the Facebook event and join our UK Actions Broadcasting group on Telegram for all the latest actions info.
There's no going back to dangerous, dirty roads.
