As teachers, we spend every day worried it could be the day. The day a shooter comes to our school. The day our lives change forever. For two of TU’s co-founders, that day has already come… and we still have to fear it happening again.

So when our voices are finally heard – when our leaders rise up and pass a common sense bill like this one in Massachusetts – the relief is incredible.

But the NRA and their billions of dollars can’t give us that one breath of peace. The minute a gun violence prevention law passes, they’re vowing to overturn it.

We’re so grateful Massachusetts passed this bill to crack down on untraceable guns, add schools to the list of public places where firearms are banned, and empower school administrators to flag dangerous people who shouldn’t own guns. We fight every day for wins like this, and with your help, we got one!
