Hey John – it’s Dan Osborn. Did you see my interview with Lawrence O’Donnell on MSNBC, where we talked about my razor-close Senate race here in Nebraska?
Like I told Lawrence: I never expected to get involved in politics. It wasn’t until corporate greed came knocking on my door and I led a 77-day strike against Kellogg’s that I saw just how much people could accomplish when we band together and fight back against the billionaires.
My opponent, Republican Deb Fischer, is one of the politicians the comedian Robin Williams used to talk about. The kind that should wear a NASCAR jacket with patches of all her corporate sponsors so we’ll know exactly how she’ll vote and who she’s really representing in Washington.
Nebraska is now the closest Senate race in the entire country. That’s why Mitch McConnell and his Super PACs are spending over $12.8 million on ads attacking me across the entire state.
Our final TV ad buy deadline is at midnight tomorrow, and we’re still incredibly short of our $500,000 goal and what we need to win this Senate seat. If we’re going to keep our TV ads up during the final week and fight back against Fischer and McConnell, I’m counting on grassroots donors like you to chip in now.
Please use the links in this email to start a weekly donation through ActBlue:
I’m not taking money from corporate PACs, so no amount you can afford to chip in is too small.
Thank you for fueling this campaign and having my back during these final days of the race,
Dan Osborn
