A gaggle of the world's richest men are helping Dave McCormick, a fellow hedge-funder from Connecticut, buy Pennsylvania's seat in the U.S. Senate, and it’s up to all of us to stop them. With only 11 days to go McCormick got a $45 million boost from a shady Wall Street PAC and can now air his doom and gloom ads during Steelers games.
The best way to help out? Chipping in to my friend Bob Casey’s campaign. [[link removed]] Bob’s held this seat since 2007. He knows the job, knows what Pennsylvanians want, and has no problem standing up for what is right and all that we believe in. He wants to protect women’s rights, build a better Pennsylvania, and keep this country moving in the right direction. He’s a fighter that Pennsylvania, and the country as a whole, simply can’t afford to lose.
Dave McCormick on the other hand, has made it clear why he’s running and who he’s running to represent. As I’ve said before, his only constituents are mega corporations looking for tax breaks, his billionaire buddies and, of course, Donald Trump. In fact, the only reason this race is so close right now is because of the billionaire megaboost. McCormick has no shame, and if he is elected, well, just consider that seat bought and paid for.
This race is really is cut and dry. On one side we have the proven civil servant and on the other side we have the industry plant. I know Bob can win this election, he just needs to close the multi-million dollar gap in these last few days before election day. Bob has and always will be a grassroots guy, and if you’re getting this email, then you know the power of grassroots support.
