EXPOSED
Hello John,
Freedom for Animals has exposed yet ANOTHER bird of prey company operating without any animal welfare licences.
Touted as the ‘largest travelling display of birds of prey in the UK’, Skyhigh Falconry in Scotland has provided birds to promote businesses such as Vodaphone, Barclays Bank and Scottish Natural Heritage.
And now after obtaining key information, we believe they have been operating illegally.

This shocking discovery comes just weeks after it was found that Sky Birds of Prey, located in Kent, was also missing the necessary licences for almost a year, yet still displaying birds.

It is important that we catch these cruel businesses operating without licences, so we can use all the powers in the law to take action against them. Due to our research, the local authority have stated they will be taking action as soon as they are able to! We will keep you posted!
But licensed or not, these businesses are exploiting animals for profit, animals who are suffering as a result.
TAKE ACTION!
- Contact DEFRA and demand they ban tethering!
Bird of prey companies use a practice called 'tethering' where they tie birds down by their legs, often for hours on end. This makes it easier for them to control the birds and therefore to carry out bird displays. We are pushing for this cruel practice to be banned - please add your signature!
- Spread the word about bird of prey displays! Check out our page for resources to help you campaign and raise awareness about the life of birds in captivity.
- Make a donation to enable research to expose other businesses exploiting animals and to fuel the campaign to free animals from captivity.
Thank you for all you do for animals!
For the animals,
Nicola O'Brien
