Hi friends,
You know I’m not into gimmicky emails.
But…with just 10 days left in this election, and so many reasons to get involved, I couldn’t resist this opportunity:
In honor of being 10 days out, here are 10 good reasons to chip in $10 (or whatever you can!) right now to elect Democrats. [[link removed]]
1.
The
election
is
really,
really
close
–
not
just
at
the
presidential
level,
but
in
dozens
of
key
House
races,
including
several
right
here
in
California.
2.
The
data
is
clear
that
grassroots
donations
power
Democratic
victories,
so
the
more
folks
chip
in,
the
better
off
we
are.
3.
Even
when
folks
only
donate
$5
or
$10,
we
know
from
past
election
cycles
that
those
smaller
donations
really
add
up
to
something
meaningful.
4.
Reproductive
freedom
is
on
the
ballot
–
everywhere,
including
California
–
so
if
we’re
going
to
protect
our
rights,
we
need
to
win.
5.
Many
scientists
warn
that
we’re
approaching
irreversible
climate
tipping
points,
and
we
can’t
afford
not
to
elect
leaders
who
take
this
crisis
seriously.
6.
With
extreme
MAGA
candidates
on
the
ballot
all
over
the
country
(including
my
own
opponent
here
in
San
Diego),
we
need
to
make
a
statement
that
we
don’t
stand
for
platforms
built
on
bigotry
and
xenophobia.
7.
But
it’s
not
just
about
defeating
extremists
–
we
have
an
incredible
slate
of
Democratic
candidates
running
this
year
who
are
worth
fighting
for.
8.
If
we
can
flip
the
House,
we
can
finally
escape
constant
political
gridlock
and
actually
get
things
done.
9.
Not
to
mention
the
fact
that
we
can
stop
teetering
on
the
edge
of
reckless
government
shutdowns
every
few
months.
10.
And
last
but
definitely
not
least…
we
don’t
want
to
wake
up
on
November
6th
and
wish
we’d
done
more
.
