I'm proud that Giffords PAC has endorsed James Mackler. He is a proven champion on gun safety and we must help elect him in 2020.

There is so much at stake this year: we need to hold and increase the gun safety majority we elected to the House; we need to flip the Senate; and we have to defeat the NRA's #1 ally -- Donald Trump.

That's why we are proud to support James Mackler, a tireless ally in the fight to make our communities safer from gun violence.

We are going to need people like James in office if we want to see our gun laws change.

Which is why we need to help elect as many gun safety champions as we can this year, so today I hope you will join me in supporting James' campaign.

Will you make a $5 donation to James Mackler's Senate campaign today? We need leaders like this fighting for us in Congress if we want to end the epidemic of gun violence in this country.

Every year that passes we see more and more candidates stepping up to run for office with gun safety as one of their leading issues.

2020 is no different. We are seeing candidates running from the state and local all the way up to the presidential level that are making gun safety a priority.

I'm excited to work hard with all of you this year to elect gun safety champions up and down the ballot who will be allies in our fight to end gun violence.

My very best,

Gabby Giffords
