Take Back Christianity is a nonpartisan GOTV (get out the vote) effort that invites Christians across divides to explore 8 key election issues through a Christian values lens.

By doing this, we are shifting the narrative on how we more authentically follow Jesus' teachings of radical inclusion, justice for the oppressed, and affirmation of all God's children.

These easy-to-access resources help individuals have difficult conversations and assist voters with guidance and insight to get past the rhetoric and vote with clarity.

In the weeks leading up to the election, we encourage you to use the nonpartisan resources at TakeBackChristianity.org to facilitate important conversations, especially within faith communities.
 
If you’re a pastor, consider a sermon series about important election issues. We have Sermon Starters on all of the key issues inspired by folks like Shane Claiborne, Jacqui Lewis, Brian McLaren, Jim Wallis, and many others, including our ProgressiveChristianity.org board.
 
If you’re a Sunday school teacher or a church leader, focus your class on the Facts vs. Myths of Christian teachings around a few of the most important issues.

We cannot do this work alone. We need you! We need you to discuss these issues with your friends, families, and faith communities, showing how Jesus' teachings can inform your vote.
