Here’s where things stand with less than one week until our final monthly deadline of the election:

To stay ahead of Kari Lake, Donald Trump, and the outside groups backing them up in Arizona, we’re spending hundreds of thousands of dollars every day. We’ve got to spend so heavily because we’re working to reach as many undecided voters as we possibly can. The primary way we do that is through advertising — online, on television, and on radio, too.

But at this point, we’ve almost completely spent down our reserves.

What that means is just about every dollar we’ve ever raised has already been invested.

That’s bad news, because Kari Lake is outspending Ruben on television in one of the most important parts of Arizona. She’s got more resources to burn through in these final weeks than we do. The timing, honestly, is terrible.

We’ve got to continue ramping up every day. If we don’t, we won’t reach the voters we need to turn out. We’ll cede ground to Lake and Trump. And that could cost us a seat in the U.S. Senate that we simply cannot afford to lose.
