Earlier this month, the Texas Supreme Court decided that emergency abortions – i.e., when a woman’s life is in danger – are just as illegal as any other abortion in Texas.

In other words:

The Texas Supreme Court made the decision that a pregnant woman’s right to life-saving healthcare is less important than the state’s abortion ban – which was passed by a room full of male legislators. The women of our country deserve to have reasonable, pro-choice women on their state Supreme Courts – to fight back against these blatant attacks on our lives.

Her name is Christine Weems, and she’s working to unseat one of the very Texas Supreme Court Justices who, just this month, ruled that women’s lives are less important than Texas’s abortion ban.

The man Christine is running against has been arrested 37 times for protesting and harassing women outside of abortion clinics. (!!!!) Yet, he refuses to recuse himself from cases that involve abortion.
