Absentee voting will save lives and make sure ALL voices are heard this election, but the GOP is fighting against it to suppress Democratic voters around the country. But if we’re going to extend absentee voting, we need to make sure the grassroots teams around the country that collect absentee ballots have the resources they need to organize. Just last week in Wisconsin, the GOP and a group of conservative judges blocked absentee voting extensions and forced people to vote in-person in the midst of a pandemic.
