Hey, it’s a Friday night, and my campaign manager already emailed you, so I’ll get right to the point.

Our campaign is at risk of having to start pulling some TV ads off the air if we don’t see a fundraising surge this weekend. Can I count on you to pitch in and help us close the gap?

I know emails like this are annoying to read. They’re not much fun to write. But the truth is, failing to hit our budget benchmarks this weekend means allowing our opponent to have the final say in this race. In a tied race with plenty of undecided voters, that would be a really unfortunate note to end the campaign on.

Listen, I know this election has been stressful. And maybe you want nothing more than for it all to be over. That’s very understandable.

But we’ve still got 11 days to go, and we need to make the most of every single one — because the stakes are simply too high to leave anything to chance.

I wake up every morning knowing that whether I win or lose will determine whether we flip the House or not — whether we have a majority in place to pass federal legislation protecting abortion rights, or whether we let MAGA Republicans pass a national abortion ban instead.

I truly believe the best way to deal with the stress of election season is to take action. I’m going to spend the weekend doing everything in my power to reach out to voters and make my case to them.
