The Week in Review
Happy Friday!
I hope you had a wonderful week. I am grateful to serve you all in the 118th Congress. Read below to see what I’ve been working on this week.
TOMORROW: Passport Day at Western Passport Center
The Western Passport Center is hosting a special passport day tomorrow, Saturday, October 26, from 8:00 AM-2:00 PM in Tucson, AZ, as part of the Department of State’s Passport Month. The U.S. Department of State is celebrating Passport Month by offering special events across the country to offer people convenient options to apply or renew their passports ahead of international travel.
No appointments needed and applicants may choose routine service (4-6 weeks) or expedited service (2-3 weeks). No same-day services will be offered.
If you travel within 14 days and need urgent passport service, please call the National Passport Information Center to schedule an appointment for another day.
Before applying for your passport, please visit Travel.State.Gov/Passports for general passport information including updated processing times, requirements, forms, and fees, or call the National Passport Information Center toll-free at 1-877-487-2778/1-888-874-7793 (TTY/TTD).
Demanding Transparency from Biden-Harris DOJ on Illegal Aliens Assaulting CBP Agents
I led letters to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Deputy Commissioner Troy Miller and U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland regarding alarming reports of illegal aliens physically assaulting CBP agents while crossing the southwest border. In Fiscal Year 2023, CBP reported that 610 agents were assaulted, while in Fiscal Year 2024, at least 413 agents were assaulted.
In August, CBP issued a press release stating that Border Patrol, specifically in the El Paso Sector, is seeing a “significant rise” in assaults on agents. Reports that the Biden-Harris Department of Justice (DOJ) is failing to prosecute illegal aliens who attack federal officers are concerning and likely contributing to losses in morale and support among CBP personnel. It is crucial to ensure that these violent illegal aliens are prosecuted not only for illegal entry into the country but also for assaulting federal officers.
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s egregious open border policies incentivize mass illegal immigration and open our country to violent criminals from around the globe.
Our Border Patrol agents put their lives on the line every single day and deserve much more respect than they’ve been given by this rogue administration. That agents are being assaulted in the first place is despicable, but DOJ’s failure to prosecute them accordingly is unacceptable.
I’m grateful for the support of my colleagues on this important issue as we await answers from Garland’s DOJ.

Examining Harris-Biden's Border Crisis in Cochise County
I visited Arizona’s southern border to witness the impacts of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden’s border crisis. I spoke with a multi-generational rancher who expressed how secure our borders were during President Trump’s Administration. Under President Trump, Border Patrol agents apprehended approximately 20 illegal aliens per month over his 10-mile span of the border. Under this rogue regime, Border Patrol agents routinely apprehend 30 aliens per day.
Click the image below to hear more about my trip to the border:
President Trump’s border wall is an obstacle for illegal aliens crossing our borders.
The Harris-Biden regime halted construction at the beginning of 2021.
The Left wants open borders.
Border Patrol agents must routinely repair holes in the border wall created by cartels.
Coyotes wear camo and carpet shoes—which we saw scattered along the wall—to avoid detection while smuggling people and drugs.
Team Biggs Tours Gateway Airport
Team Biggs was honored to tour the updated Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.
Gateway Airport serves almost 2 million passengers every year and has added thousands of jobs to the East Valley’s economy.
We’re thankful to have a great team supporting our community!
Team Biggs Tours Top Aces
Team Biggs was privileged to see some of the great work being done by Top Aces in Mesa.
Top Aces is the leader in commercial repair of F-16 fighter jets.
I am excited to see how they expand their innovation in the future.
Alien Invasion Border Documentary
Check out my border documentary titled Alien Invasion. The 30-minute documentary features footage from private ranches along the border, the Darien Gap in Panama, and interviews with members of Congress, Border Patrol, local and state law enforcement, and much more. It addresses how President Biden’s border crisis began, its consequences, and solutions to address the crisis.
The border documentary may be watched here.
