J.D. ScholtenChris, the most racist Republican in the Congress -- Iowa's Steve King -- has done it again.

King yesterday praised the merits of rape and incest as part of a convoluted argument as to why abortion shouldn't be permitted even in the most extreme cases of rape and incest.

Would you consider making a small donation to Scholten's campaign, and to support our work to keep the House blue and Defeat Donald Trump in 2020?

CNN has more:

GOP Rep. Steve King of Iowa questioned on Wednesday whether there would be any population left on Earth if not for rape and incest, a remark that has drawn condemnation from both Democrats and Republicans.
"What if we went back through all the family trees and just pulled those people out that were products of rape and incest? Would there be any population of the world left if we did that?" he said in Urbandale, Iowa, according to video posted online by the Des Moines Register, which was first to report on the remarks Wednesday.
"Considering all the wars and all the rape and pillage that has taken place ... I know I can't certify that I was not a part of a product of that," King said. "I'd like to think that every one of the lives of us are as precious as any other life," he added.

Previously, Steve King lamented the fact that the phrases "white supremacy" and "white nationalism" have gotten such a bad rap:

"White nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization — how did that language become offensive?"

We're supporting Steve King's 2020 opponent, J.D. Scholten, who ran against King in 2018 and lost by only 2,500 votes. Scholten is pro-choice, pro-environment, pro- gun control, and pro-ACA. Scholten can win this -- he nearly did -- but he needs our help.

I'm contacting you because you donated previously to progressive candidates we endorsed. We very much appreciate your continuing support for fighting the Trump agenda.

Would you consider making a small donation to Scholten's campaign, and to support our work to keep the House blue and Defeat Donald Trump in 2020?

Thanks so much, JOHN
