Eric Hovde has officially taken the lead for the first time in public polling — a brand new poll from Trafalgar shows me down by one point, 49-48.

This moment has been building up for months. He and his Republican allies launched a $80 million ad blitz to close the polling gap and buy this seat, and they’ve never been closer to succeeding.

I don’t mean to be alarmist, but we’re running out of time to fight back.

Republicans are outspending us on the airwaves, early voting is underway, and all signs show my self-funding megamillionaire opponent surging.
