• Pennsylvania is the only state in the country with a divided legislature — Democrats hold the state house and Republicans the state senate. Both chambers are toss-ups, and whether pro-democracy candidates are elected could decide whether we have a path to redistricting reform.

• In Arizona we’re mobilizing against a ballot initiative that would essentially end term limits for state supreme court and appellate court judges — including those already serving.

• Michigan voters passed a ballot initiative to create a fair redistricting process. But extremists are trying to take back the state house — and if they win, they could plan harmful changes to the state’s independent redistricting commission.

This is a movement of millions of Americans, across all 50 states, committed to making our elected officials more responsive to the people they represent.
