Right now, we are in a real crunch. My team and I ran the numbers and the truth is: we have a gap in our budget that’s forcing us to make cuts.

I’m not going to say the sky is falling when it isn’t, but the reality is this couldn’t come at a worse time. We’re just days away from Election Day, and this race is still in a dead heat. These cuts to our budget mean fewer crucial voters we can reach in these final days.

To make a bad situation worse, outside groups are continuing to flood our district with attacks against me. They’re ready to do whatever it takes to flip this seat red, and we know their spending won’t slow down until the polls close on Election Day.
