A message from Diana:

I don’t typically take public positions on ballot initiatives. This year, however, there are two in particular that I want to call your attention to.

I urge you to vote NO on Proposition 131. It will lead to voter confusion, lower participation rates, even more money in politics and could manipulate primary results.

I urge you to vote YES on Denver Ballot issue 2Q. Denver Health is the city’s safety net hospital that provides critical health services to the region. But it has also been operating at a loss and is in need of sustainable funding. 2Q is a modest .34% sales tax increase that will benefit everyone in our area.

Diana is set to become the chair or ranking member of the Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee next year, following Rep. Anna Eshoo's decision not to seek reelection. In a recent interview, Diana outlined her legislative priorities, including expanding Medicare drug price negotiations and making telehealth rules permanent.
