The right to clean water and clean air is essential for happy, healthy, and safe communities. As Michiganders who have seen the terrible impacts of a water crisis on our neighbors in Flint, we know we can't take that right for granted.
That's why we won't let our freedom to live in a clean environment be snatched away by politicians who serve corporate interests over the well-being of our community. This election, Republicans are designing their policy platforms off the Project 2025 playbook, which aims to gut the Environmental Protection Agency. This would significantly weaken all federal safeguards for our air and water, leaving the responsibility of these protections to state legislatures like ours.
