Our end-of-month fundraising deadline is less than a week away.
My team tells me that we need to raise $10,000 before October 31st — and in a moment, I’m going to ask for your help reaching that goal. But before I do, I want to explain just how important your support is right now.
This is our last grassroots fundraising deadline before the general election. We need to be prepared for every possible scenario coming out of November 5th, especially if Donald Trump tries to challenge election results again or makes it back to the White House.
We’ve already seen how MAGA Republicans have ramped up their attacks on our fundamental freedoms. They’ve established near-total abortion bans in multiple states, thwarted critical environmental regulations, targeted vulnerable communities like immigrants and LGBTQ+ youth, and increased their voter suppression efforts.
Day in and day out, I have been working to make sure these attacks don’t reach Californians. With your support, I’ve been holding polluters accountable, keeping greedy corporations in check, and making sure our fundamental rights remain protected.
The more we can raise from grassroots donors like you replying to emails like this one, the less time I’ll have to spend making calls to donors — and the more time I can focus on protecting our state from far-right attacks.
