This annual celebration is all about the importance of pro bono participation. We shared a story about a lawyer supporting election officials ([link removed]) on Monday, and now we want to recognize the 70 We The Action volunteers that are bringing legal support to patient-led organizations working to improve the lives of people affected by rare disease.

Earlier this year, We The Action launched a partnership with the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative to provide pro bono legal support to patient-led organizations in their Rare As One Network. Today, we’re excited to launch a new video that highlights the impact of this partnership! Rare disease research often involves navigating complex regulatory landscapes. Rare As One Network organizations urgently need lawyers to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws governing research, clinical trials, and the eventual dissemination of treatments.
