I get it, it’s Friday. You’ve got weekend plans to look forward to. I’ve got… well, I’ll be here at Team Salinas HQ.

But I had to reach out very quickly before the weekend, because my team and I just went over our budget, line by line, and this conclusion was unavoidable: We don’t currently have the money to keep our TV ads on air through Election Day.

That leaves us with two choices: take our ads off the air, or race to fill the gap.

I won’t say that surrendering the airwaves in the closing days of a tied race is exactly like waving a white flag, but it’s in the same ballpark. Can we count on you to rush a donation to ensure that we have the resources to fight back against our opponent’s attacks — and stay in this fight all the way through November 5th?
