Ugh, John! After two months of momentum in California’s 45th Congressional District, a new poll has Republican Michelle Steel retaking the lead.
This is a critical Republican-held tossup seat. If we can flip this district, Democrats will almost certainly take back control of the U.S. House.
That’s why we were *THRILLED* when the last two polls had Democrat Derek Tran leading by +2 points, but now the latest poll has incumbent Republican Rep. Michelle Steel leading by +4 points.
Here’s what we know: This race is within the margin of error and we still have every opportunity to win this district and take back the House Majority.
