In my estimation, we have one opportunity to break the hold that Donald Trump still has on millions of Americans; on Active Duty members of the Military, Veterans, members of Military Families, and more.

I believe that we need leaders of political courage to speak out in order to do it.

What I mean by that is the political courage shown by former Congresswoman Liz Cheney, who stood up to her own party in the face of Trump’s lawlessness and dictatorial aims.

The courage shown by General Kelly, Trump’s former Chief of Staff, who went forward publicly with his deep concerns about Trump — his belief that Trump meets the definition of a fascist, Trump’s fascination with and admiration of Hitler, Trump’s desire to be served by generals with absolute loyalty “like Hitler’s Generals,” and his continuous attacks on the dignity of the fallen, the wounded, the captured, and all who serve.

Now is the time for Generals Milley, Mattis, and so many others who served under Trump to speak directly to the American people. Now is the time to say publicly what they have been reported as saying in private.

Each of them swore the same oath I did: To support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. It is their duty to speak out now.

Donald Trump is a grave domestic threat to our Constitution, and we desperately need leaders of character, conscience, and courage to do whatever they can to ensure he does not become our Commander in Chief once more.

Join me in calling upon Generals Mattis, Milley, and any other leaders who have served in close proximity to Trump to speak out, in public, directly to the American people. There is no time to waste.
