The chair of the conservative House Freedom Caucus says the North Carolina Legislature should consider allocating the state’s presidential electors to Donald Trump even before votes are counted in the swing state. Rep. Andy Harris (R-Md.) said Thursday that such a step by North Carolina’s Republican-controlled Legislature “makes a lot of sense” given the devastation wrought by Hurricane Helene in the western part of the state. DNC office shooting suspect busted with more than 120 guns in his Arizona home Jeffrey Michael Kelly, the man arrested for shooting up a DNC office in Phoenix, Arizona, was discovered to have over 120 guns and 250,000 (!) rounds of ammo hidden in his home. Police believe that he may have been planning a mass shooting, given that he was hiding a full-on arsenal in his home. We're beyond lucky that he was stopped before he could commit an even more heinous act of violence, but the fact that he was able to assemble a small army's worth of weaponry in the first place is yet another grim reminder our gun laws are in need of SERIOUS reform.
