Friends,
This California work period has been filled with local visits. In my last newsletter, I updated you on a few of my recent Southwest Riverside meetings. This week, I want to highlight key engagements in East County.
Adding to my offices in Temecula and Escondido, I have now opened a new office in East County. Co-located with the City of Santee, if you ever find yourself in need of assistance with a federal agency such as Social Security and Medicare, we are here to assist. Please call 760-304-7575 to schedule an appointment at this location in advance.
In addition to the Santee office opening, I toured the construction site of the Padre Dam Advanced Purification Project which I was proud to secure federal funding for. Once completed, this project will increase the supply of usable water in East County by 30%.
Also, I joined the San Miguel Fire Station for their groundbreaking celebration. I helped secure $1,000,000 in federal funding for this project in 2024.
Finally, I visited the Alpine Fire Station to speak with our dedicated fire personnel about their work and to present them with a U.S. Capitol-flown flag to proudly fly year-round.
As always, it is an honor to serve as your representative in Congress. For more information, please visit my website at www.issa.house.gov.
