James,

As a doctor, I choose my words very carefully — the wrong explanation of a procedure or delivery of a diagnosis risks real harm to patients.

So know that I say this with all sincerity: Project 2025 should make us all afraid.

If you haven't heard, Project 2025 is the nearly 1000-page plan for Republicans to attack our freedoms, wreck our health care, undermine a century of nonpartisan civil service, and more.

I'll explain more — but if you want to stop Project 2025, we need to win WI-08. Will you pitch in $ or more right now? [link removed]

Of course, as a woman who is an OB/GYN, I immediately went digging for what Project 2025 would mean for reproductive freedom.

What I found is horrifying. Project 2025 would…

-Create a national abortion database — including creepy information like a mother's state of residence, something no politician has a right to know

-Overrule medical experts at the FDA — Project 2025 would reverse approval of the abortion pill which the FDA has ruled safe and effective

-Ban even using the words abortion, gender equality, and reproductive health in federal rules, regulations, and legislation — imagine the impact on things as monumental as anti-discrimination regulations

And MAGA has a plan to make it all happen by firing dedicated civil servants and replacing them with people whose primary qualification is loyalty to Trump.

It's disturbing, dangerous, and downright un-American.

I'm determined to make sure Project 2025 never becomes reality. Will you pitch in $ or more to send me to Congress, where I promise to send it straight to the trash? [link removed]

Thanks for being a part of this team,

Kristin Lyerly
