Mass deportations, gutting abortion rights, erasing LGBTQ+ people and stripping Black and Brown voting power.
Friend,
We’ve all seen the damage done when disinformation recklessly spreads and spills into our communities. Project 2025 is no exception.
Created by the Heritage Foundation — a conservative think tank that regularly uses and spreads disinformation — Project 2025’s extremist objective is to reshape presidential powers and the federal bureaucracy in the image of dominionism.
Developed and supported by 75 organizations — and at least nine antigovernment and hate groups like Moms for Liberty and Center for Immigration Studies — its individual policy plans include carrying out mass deportations, gutting abortion rights, erasing LGBTQ+ people and stripping Black and Brown voting power.
We’ll be candid. The dangers of disinformation cannot be overstated, and we must take on the bad actors who continue to push these fallacies.

This isn’t the first time the Heritage Foundation has created extremist policy plans for future conservative presidencies. In fact, two-thirds of its policy proposals were adopted during Trump’s first year in office.
The 900-page extremist playbook sets a dangerous precedent for American democracy, and we must do what we can to ensure our future is not riddled with hate violence, extreme policies and racist laws.
As a leader in denouncing hate and extremism, the SPLC is working to dismantle the hateful rhetoric that continues to sow distrust and foment violence.
During Hate Crimes Awareness Month, we are:
Informing the public of the gravity of hate crimes and the lack of credible data to help us understand the scope of the problem.;
Pushing our lawmakers to pass legislation requiring that local agencies report hate crimes;
Demanding federal funding of prevention programs for children; for programs to build community resiliency against hate; to inoculate against extremism and to empower adults to help steer young people away from violent extremism;
And encouraging people to speak out against hate and extremism, including elected officials, advocates and business leaders.
Friend, the time to condemn far-right false conspiracy theories is now. And with our deadline approaching October 31, we need your help to get us to the finish line, so we have ample resources to fight back.
Please make a special gift today to support the SPLC’s Hate Crimes Awareness Month campaign to demand more protection against hate and extremism.

Your advocacy is a testament to the power of standing united against hate and extremism in our country. Thank you.
