Shaka, a slender-tailed meerkat, recently welcomed four pups—the first born at the San Diego Zoo in six years. For meerkats, raising little ones is a group effort. The entire mob watches over the pups as they begin exploring above the burrow’s complex tunnels. On your next visit to the Zoo, dig into Africa Rocks and try to spot the newest members of this tight-knit family. Wild Weekend: Oceans
