Asking for money is one of the worst parts of the job—but with the election in 11 days, I hope you’ll understand why I’m reaching out.

We have a major fundraising goal at midnight tonight, and it’s crucial that we reach our targets.

Mitch McConnell and his buddies are looking for any signs of vulnerabilities. If we miss our fundraising goal, we’ll have to pull down our ads and open the door for even more outside spending from McConnell’s super PACs.

With the race so close, those ads could mean the difference between winning and losing this race.
