Dear friend,

This month marks one year since Israel’s full-scale invasion of Gaza.

More than 40,000 people in Gaza have been killed and 93,000 have been reported injured. As you read this, two million Gazans continue to face the threat of famine, bombardment, displacement, and disease. With the conflict ramping up in Lebanon, another 1 million people were driven from their homes due to airstrikes.

Below are firsthand updates from our team members inside Gaza, who are providing glimpses of the excruciating hardships families have faced this past year.

Will you rush a first-time gift today to support families facing conflict and crisis in Gaza and around the world? Remember, every dollar you give can combine with $4 in additional funding to go up to 5X as far!

Despite numerous calls for a ceasefire, access to humanitarian aid, and protection of all civilians, more than two million Palestinians are still bearing the brunt of this conflict and have nowhere else to turn. It remains extremely difficult to get aid into Gaza, and humanitarian aid workers continue to face life-threatening dangers from Israeli attacks.

With your commitment, Mercy Corps will continue to respond to the humanitarian need in Gaza. Since the start of the war, we have reached over 190,00 people, delivering emergency cash assistance, food and hygiene kits, and psychosocial support for young people and their caregivers.

Your gift today will help us expand our efforts for families in Gaza and around the world. Will you make a first-time gift today, and see it go up to 5X as far?

Thanks as always for your continued support.

Sincerely,

The Mercy Corps team
