I launched Speak Up PAC to ensure we had the infrastructure to keep the fight going. Long after Election Day, we will still be supporting candidates and communities that will fight for a better future for all of us.

If we have learned anything over the past several years, it’s this: a democracy is something you must work for and fight to protect. The enemy to progress isn’t just anti-democracy zealots who’ve pledged their loyalty to Donald Trump, it’s apathy. We have to push back against the instinct to stay silent. To accept the status quo.

Fighting for our freedoms is a crucial responsibility. When we don’t speak up, democracy suffers. Our communities suffer. But we’ve proven more than once what we can do when we lift our voices.
