Early voting poll are open and we've got eleven days to make a difference! If you are not already engaged with the many volunteer opportunities we are offering it's not too late! Please jump on board this week.
Canvassing and phone banking remain our top priorities. We also need volunteers at our Democrats of Indian River tents on priority days at early voting locations across our county. And don't forget we will continue to host sign waving events up until the election.
Help us make sure every Democrat has a plan to vote and is empowered with the information they need to elect proud Democrats down the entire ticket. We also welcome donations to support our initiatives.
If you have received your mail-in-ballot, please return your ballot ASAP. Voting as early as possible helps our Democratic candidates narrow their focus and enables them to conduct more effective outreach to voters.
In addition to our canvassing events shared below, we are also pleased to now offer NEW Grab & Go Bundles every weekday! Swing by the office during office hours to pick up a bundle to canvass at a time that works for you. When you've completed that bundle, drop off your turf map and pick up another one. It's that simple!
New Canvassing events have also been added! Come join our canvassing team to knock on Democrats' doors in Indian River County. We will be speaking with voters to share candidate information and encourage them to get out to vote. If you are a Spanish speaker we need your help too. No experience is necessary and training is provided.
Tenting at the Polls
Volunteers are needed to take shifts at our Democrats of Indian River tent located outside early voting locations. Volunteers will be outside to provide slate cards and answer questions for voters.
Join us Sunday for an exciting day of unity and fun as we go cruising for Democrats during our caravan event for Indian County Democrats!
We’ll kick off our journey by staging at a local park to bring together supporters from across Indian River County. Bring items to decorate your cars at our staging location and then wave your flags, honk your horns, and show your Democratic spirit as we caravan together, making our voices heard!
Phonebank Events
Join Democrats of Indian River Wednesday for a fun-filled in person phone bank event with Crumble Cookies and Drinks! Bring your cellphone and laptop or tablet if you have one.
Join our online phone bank every weekdayto call voters in Indian River County from home! We will set you up with everything you need and training is provided.
The Harris-Walz campaign is hosting Harris for President phonebooks in Vero Beach. Join them almost every day for phonebanks in support of Harris for President, and down ballot Democrats. Work with other local supporters to talk to voters across the state! They will make sure you are completely prepared and trained on all of the tools. Please bring a Phone and Laptop/Tablet if possible as this will make the process a lot easier for you when calling.
Make your voice heard and have a blast while doing it? Come on out to our high-energy Sign Waving Events for Democrats! Whether you’re a seasoned activist or just looking to show your support, these events are all about unity, joy, and making a statement.
