I’ve told you before that I believe this truly is the most important election of our lives. Our rights are under attack like never before. We either come together and put a halt to their radical anti-gun agenda, or we face the possibility of the gun control movement regulating away our God-given right to keep and bear arms.

Instead of focusing on who wins the White House, GOA and GOA Victory Fund have been razor-focused on ensuring we have a pro-gun Senate majority who will halt every gun control proposal that comes before the chamber. This truly is the last line of defense against an anti-gunner-in-chief who seeks to erode our Second Amendment rights.

But the Texas Senate race has been neck-and-neck for some time. Every recent poll shows Ted Cruz in a slight lead over anti-gunner Colin Allred. How much of a lead depends on what poll you’re looking at:

• University of Austin: Cruz up 7%
• University of Houston: Cruz up 4%
• Morning Consult: Cruz up 1%
• Texas Hispanic Policy Foundation: Cruz up 3%
• Emerson College: Cruz up 4%

John, Ted Cruz is a pivotal pro-gun voice in the Senate. He’s someone we have come to count on to defend our right to keep and bear arms.

We’re closing in on Election Day. Ballots are hitting mailboxes, and early voting is unfolding in Texas. But there are still 10 million gun owners and hunters who do not vote in critical elections like this one.
