Good morning, friend — I just poured myself a cup of coffee and am eager to write to you and get my day going! 🌞

I'll be honest: I need a lot of coffee these days, and it's because I'm not sleeping much. Everything is OK, it's just that I'm a bundle of nerves and excitement in these final days of the campaign, where we are so close to actually defeating Rick Scott and protecting Democratic control of the Senate!

I need you to know that we never would have gotten to this point without you. We never would have gotten to a point where the polls are statistically tied, where Rick Scott is forced to spend tens of millions of dollars to compete with our grassroots movement, and where the major Democratic committees spend millions of dollars of their own money to help us because they believe in us!

Thank you, friend. A year ago at this time, the political pundits wrote off Florida completely. We put Florida in play. We gave Rick Scott his notice. We are on the cusp of pulling off the greatest political upset in modern history.

But Rick Scott is outspending me nearly 3-to-1 on the airwaves — and he's already spent over $37 million on ads to defeat me. Well, I don't have a fraudulently earned fortune like him to tap into. I have you, friend. I have this grassroots movement. And I can only fight back and win by closing in on my daily $500,000 goal at midnight tonight.
