There Is Some There There

Once again, this time on a CNN town hall, Harris appears unable to answer direct question with direct answers as if she were a void.  But she is not – she has at least one touchpoint on which she is definite and immovable – she hates traditional religion.  Oh, she may have gone to church last Sunday, but make no mistake – if that church thinks as churches have thought for centuries (centuries longer than this nation has existed) she has a problem with it.

If It’s Not Close They Can’t Litigate

The title of this post is a rip-off of the title of a book the host wrote way back in the wake of Bush v Gore.  I thought about it as I consider what is likely to happen in the wake of this upcoming election.  The data, if not your guts, say this election is going to be very, very close.  I deeply fear that the litigation after this election will be something like (Bush v Gore)10.  The best way to avoid it is to make sure the victory margin is too large for petty litigable issues to matter.
