Get ready for a day of ghostly delights, family fun, and Halloween magic at the Monster Mash! Dress up in your best costume and enjoy music and dancing in the bandstand with a family-friendly DJ, free face painting for kids, spooky games, crafts, and tasty treats from food and drink stalls.
The Strolling Bones Parade will be providing some hair-raising fun too. This eerie yet playful walkabout performance, created by Walk the Plank, features lively skeleton puppets dancing to the infectious sounds of the Fat Cat Brass Band.
Tickets are £1 per person (plus booking fee) and include entry to the Castle.

During half term you can also take part in the Monsters Trail inside the museum and galleries, enjoy Halloween craft activities, or discover King David's Dungeon and Mortimer's Hole by booking onto a *cave tour [ [link removed] ]*. Standard admission applies.

The James Alexander Warehouse at Binks Yard
This interactive Halloween pop-up experience takes place at the disused warehouse next to Binks Yard. Thrill-seekers will be transported to the scene of a chemical outbreak at a secret scientific test facility, to race against the clock and make it through the ‘scare maze'. Live actors are transformed into scary inhabitants lurking and awaiting visitors at every corner.
A family-friendly experience takes place on Saturdays and Sundays, while older guests can buckle up for a truly spine-tingling event, complete with jump scares, as night falls.

Tails are set to wag as Forestry England invites you to take your four-legged friends on the ultimate forest dog walk with Wallace & Gromit at Sherwood Pines!
Forest Walkies has been developed in partnership with Aardman and Ordnance Survey to help families spend quality time with their canine companions. Routes are plotted on the Ordnance Survey’s Map app, and feature Wallace & Gromit on panels along the route with fun challenges to do with your dog. The accompanying activity pack includes a beautifully designed tote bag and a cute dog bandana.

Indie-rock band Glass Animals, formed in Oxford in 2010, head out on their Tour of Earth with special guest The Big Moon. They have released three albums to date with the most recent, "Dreamland", peaking in the UK charts at no.2 in 2020.
Glass Animals are best known for sleeper hit "Heat Waves" which went viral on TikTok and reached two billion Spotify streams by September 2022, and was nominated for Best British Single at the 2022 Brit Awards.

Nottingham Operatic Society will stage their first ever production of the beloved Broadway smash "Guys & Dolls". Bustling with gamblers, gangsters, and showgirls, the musical celebrates Damon Runyon’s comic book world of 1940s Times Square in New York City.
Considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy, "Guys & Dolls" introduces audiences to a cast of characters who have become legends in the musical theatre world: Sarah Brown, Sky Masterson, Adelaide, and Nathan Detroit.

As always with Beat The Streets, all proceeds from ticket sales, bar sales and merchandise will be going directly towards Framework's important work improving the lives of homeless people in Nottingham.
