You read that correctly.

Kari Lake filed her pre-general FEC report, and as of October 16th her campaign has more cash on hand than we do.

If this isn’t a wake-up call I don’t know what is. It invites the worst kind of scrutiny — millions more dollars from outside spenders, fresh waves of attack ads — at the exact moment that we’re worst positioned to fight back.

Our fundraising hasn’t been where it should be all month. We tried continuously to turn it around, but nothing broke through. As a result, we’ve had to make some tough decisions.

And now, we’re seeing the effects. We just got word that we’re being outspent in the Tucson media market. This is the second largest metropolitan area in the state, home to thousands of undecided voters.

We need all hands on deck.

Turning this around will not be easy, but it’s clear that we have no other option. We have to dig deep now, or we risk everything we’ve fought for over the course of this entire campaign.
