The Different Shades of Motherhood

Mothers, just like fathers, are vital to the nuclear family. Moms are often nurturers; encouraging their children (and children like their children) to be the best version of themselves. Motherhood goes through many different seasons from raising toddlers to teenagers and finally grandkids, with each presenting its own unique challenges and joys. As my grandma used to say, “if you want to see time fly, have kids!”

Mothers and grandmas give the best advice. That’s why we dedicated an episode to Mother’s Day. We talked with three different mothers: one a grandma, one a mom of teens, and one a mom of two under 12 months. They shared their stories of coping with intense happiness and loss and how they learned from those experiences and more importantly, continued to walk in faith.
