A letter from the FIT-NH Board Chairman
To all supporters in the FIT-NH Family,
As the Chair of the Board of Directors at Families in Transition-New Horizons, I am writing to share some exciting news! Our search for the next President of the organization has concluded in the appointment of Maria Devlin, a New Hampshire native with over 30 years of nonprofit experience in the state.
Currently, Maria is Chief Executive Officer of the American Red Cross for Northern New England, where is responsible for directing all humanitarian Red Cross activities with federal, state, municipal, corporate, and community partners. She will officially join Families in Transition-New Horizons on June 15th, 2020.
Maria's broad experience navigating the unique needs of the nonprofit world, combined with her lifelong community connections in New Hampshire, makes her a perfect match for the FIT-NH family and our mission in service of the statewide community. She is a compassionate leader with the ideal attributes needed to successfully navigate the unique challenges of this pandemic and help us in preparing to serve the needs of our community long into the future.
I want to acknowledge the outstanding job of our Executive Leadership team during this interim period. They have been steadfast in their response to the rapidly changing environment with a global crisis, continuing essential services during this pandemic. We can't thank them enough for their devotion and dedication.
We are confident in the continuation of the mission and commitment of FIT-NH and the ability to serve our community and our participants moving forward.
