“Voting is the responsibility of a responsible Christian. Check the scriptures to see what the Bible teaches about the issues, pick the appropriate candidate and VOTE." ~ Dr George Barna |
“52% of America say they go to church every week, of those 52% only half are registered to vote, and of the half that are registered to vote... only half of those vote." ~ Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick |
“Scripture has a lot to say about how the government relates to us and how we relate to government. Think Biblically, think your values...cast your vote, what an awesome privilege and honor to live in this country!" ~ Pastor Danny Forshee |
“As a lover of Christ what matters to you? (voting) It’s a civic duty, a privilege that people have died for." ~ Author & Pastor Max Lucado |
“To vote for the democrats is to vote for a party that is building their platform upon everything that God hates; mutilation of bodies, the annihilation of babies in the womb, and the sexualization of your children. They don’t hide that.” ~ Pastor Jonny Ardavanis |

Odessa Protects Privacy/Safety for Girls in Restrooms/Locker Rooms! |
Jonathan Saenz, President of Texas Values, testified in front of the Odessa City Council Tuesday, Oct. 22, in support of enacting a new city ordinance to protect the safety and privacy in restroom facilities for women and girls. The new ordinance passed by a vote of 5-2!
The proposed city ordinance defines sex based on a person’s birth certificate as entered “at or near the time of birth”, similar to language in Texas state law on the Save Women's Sports issue.
“Girls and women are safer in Odessa now because the courageous Odessa City Council updated their local laws with common sense and timely specific guidance. We hope more cities in Texas will follow Odessa’s lead and pass a similar ordinance.” Jonathan Saenz
