Control of the U.S. House could not be more up in the air right now. According to Nate Silver’s FiveThiryEight, it’s essentially coming down to a coin flip:
It’s coming down to the wire – but there’s one way we can guarantee Democrats will get the Speaker’s gavel back in January: by electing Jen Schultz here in Minnesota’s 8th congressional district.
We’ve been building momentum every step of the way – and in a race that was deemed a Republican stronghold this time last year, we are giving MAGA Republican Pete Stauber a serious run for his money.
Regardless of our politics, Minnesotans are getting fed up with Stauber’s failures as our representative. He doesn’t show up for his constituents and is only focused on his own rise to power within the ranks of the Republican Party.
Minnesotans deserve a leader that will put them first. That’s why folks are excited to cast their ballots for Jen Schultz. But we need to put the pedal to the metal in the home stretch!
