Ever since my daughter Jaime was killed during the 2018 Parkland massacre, I've dedicated my life to making sure no parent or family has to carry the loss that I do.

That's why electing leaders in the Senate who will advocate for gun safety legislation is so important to me – and why I'm reaching out to you today.

With only 12 days until Election Day, we're investing in these five Senate races:

Winning these critical races will mean the difference between a pro-gun safety Senate and a Senate controlled by MAGA extremists.

So please: Will you give just $5 before midnight tonight to secure these must-win races, maintain our Democratic Senate majority, and end the gun violence epidemic?

These five Senate races are critical, friend – and every single one of these Democrats is fighting to create a safer future for all Americans.

In Texas, Colin Allred is committed to ending the gun violence epidemic plaguing our country and holding self-serving, gun lobby politicians like Ted Cruz accountable. 

In Wisconsin, Tammy Baldwin supports the Second Amendment but understands that we can and must do more to confront gun violence, stop mass shootings, and keep our kids and communities safe.

In Nevada, Jacky Rosen has led the fight against gun violence throughout her time in Congress, helping pass the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the most significant gun safety law in 30 years. 

In Ohio, Sherrod Brown is working to protect families and children and is advocating for commonsense laws to put an end to gun violence. 

In Florida, I know from personal experience that we need a leader who cares about public safety and fiercely defends the right of every Floridian to live free of gun violence. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell is that leader and she's ready to retire Rick Scott, who has sided with the gun lobby every time.

These races are winnable, friend. I know it might not seem like much, but if everyone who reads this gives $5, we can stop the gun lobby and their bought-and-paid-for politicians in their tracks. But we need you to step up and act now. 

As a gun violence survivor and gun safety advocate, I’m personally asking: Will you chip in $5 to help us reach our $10,000 goal, elect pro-gun safety politicians, and build a better future that is free from gun violence?
